Porsche Experience Day - weather

I have mine tomorrow afternoon, (Wednesday 1St November) looking forward to it, rain or shine, if track is wet it's a 4X4 and will be good to see how far the GTS can be pushed and put it through its paces. The race circuit tarmac is different to roads and the water should disperse better, hopefully.

I'm sure the day would be a lot more 'interesting' if the circuit is lashed with rain. However, my point is about a pre-emptive decision about weather, given the horrendous forecast.
I don't want to be standing there at 0900 on Thursday, having battled my way through the storm to get there, only to be told "sorry, lads & lasses, the weather is too horrendous for driving" - when that decision could have been made the previous evening given the forecast.

Almost all the staff at the PEC are day rating consultants. I highly doubt that making a decision on the day would happen unless actual conditions were significantly worse than forecast.

I reckon Silverstone could be actually under a foot of water and they'd still be running the low grip hill climb!

Going down the ice hill rather than up it is much more fun.
