I initially spec'd my car with a Gloss Black rear badge. When i changed colour to Metallic Black i switched the badge back to the standard Matt black. I told my SE well before my spec'd locked down. Car has arrived now with the badge in gloss black . SE has apologised and said he will order a replacement to be fitted at a later date. To be honest. i'm not really that fussed either way, He's sent me a picture. looks ok. It It's just bloody annoying that they get stuff wrong on a £80k car.

It is annoying but at least the OPC has acknowledged the error before you spot it and has offered a solution to rectify. I don’t think I would be that fussed about this issue either. Don’t let it spoil your experience on Thursday.

I agree. Think i'm gonna leave it Gloss .. Don't want to be taking it off risking marking the paintwork.

I'll post some pictures on Thursday.

Maybe play on their heart strings and get a few more freebies thrown in. I just looked on the confuserator, it looks fine to me in gloss. Only 2 sleeps till Thursday, exciting times. Good luck.

If it’s black on black, it will be practically invisible more than a foot away anyway?

+1. Leave it as is. Ask for Porsche merchandise of your choice to the retail value of the matt badging. :)

That will look quite nice - I quite like gloss black badges. Even though I have the matte, I wouldn't be too fussed

Though that is a great excuse to get a free leather key pouch or soemthing thrown in. Go for gold!

Rub the gloss with some fine emery paper... it'll soon go matte!
