Opcs fitted a set of 19 inch winter tyres last year (2022 macan s). Swapped out in the summer, winters went into storage. Indy swapped winters back on. TPMS showing 1.9/2.1 fr/back (28/30 psi). Reset to 19 winter. message to top up to 2.3/2.5 (34/37 psi).

question - I like the softness of the ride on lower pressure - is 1.9/2.1 too low?

1.9/2.1 is really too low, soft ride but they'll really wear on the outer edges. I run both summer and winter on 2.2/2.4. I find that 2.3/2.5 wear the centre much quicker. Normally only myself in the car though.

Pressures should be as recommended by Porsche. If you have an accident and tyre pressures are low/high that may be regarded as a contributing factor.

If in doubt, get pressures for your set up from your OPC... in writing.

No need to contact anyone, on Gen 3 you can dial in whatever setup you've got and it shows what pressure is required.

Scroll to "TPMS", Choose "Tyre Type" and chose whatever setup you've got. TPMS should show recommended pressure.

Now that is useful. I have to bend down and peer at a sticker in the driver's door opening.

Is must be good knowing it all but why do you sign in here if there's nothing to learn?
