When connected to our Gen2 Macan S I am prevented from accessing the internet (engine off, sitting in car) on the phone until I disconnect bluetooth on it.
I recall the same issue on my 2012 TTS, but can't recall if I found a way around it other than bluetooth on/off all the time. I often forget to switch the bluetooth back on before I next drive the car and then can't answer calls when on the move.
Any ideas?
Thanks all.
Why does my Samsung phone...
My guess is that you have connected the phone to the car's Wi-Fi and it hasn't got internet connection. Unless you want the car's Wi-Fi hotspot to be available to passengers (kids with games consoles?) there's no benefit in that. Initially just try turning off the phones Wi-Fi which should get you connected via the mobile network, leaving Bluetooth alone. You can make that permanent by telling your phone to "forget" the car's Wi-Fi network.
