Hi
Is there anyway I can increase the 'tick tock' sound when the indicator is on, I just can't hear it. Nothing wrong with my hearing by the way!!
Mike
Tick from indicator.
You can't make it louder. There's a useful flashing light on the instrument cluster, plus a flashing light on the relevant door mirror, to help you realise the indicators are on.

On our Renault you can choose 3x levels of sound volume for the indicators.

My driving instructor put the flasher unit into a disposable plastic cup to make it more audible.
That was on a 1970s Vauxhall Viva.

I had a Generation 1 Macan with the same problem and on that car, you certainly could increase the indicator volume, the volume on mine seemed to have quietened over a couple of years
I can't remember exactly how I did it and as I no longer have the car, can't look at the options in the menus.
I would imagine it would be something like, car or vehicle, then settings, then take it from there, but don't give up, it certainly was possible on a Gen. 1.

Don’t recall that on mine and I can’t see anything in the manual under vehicle settings. You can change the volume of park assist and lane departure/LKA but not indicators. And I haven’t heard that it’s possible via workshop diagnostics either.boreas7 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2024 11:09 pm I had a Generation 1 Macan with the same problem and on that car, you certainly could increase the indicator volume, the volume on mine seemed to have quietened over a couple of years
