Had new tyres fitted recently and fitter was reluctant to balance the rears. Said it wasn’t necessary….i asked him to do it anyway

Could be that 10J wheels are so wide and not being turning wheels the imbalances are minimal, but a first one for me too.

With independent rear suspension, it is always avisable to have the rears balanced too.

10j will exacerbate out of balance forces.......
