Can roof rails be retrofitted by dealer? Looking at a GTS that doesn’t have them from factory

I seem to recall (but may be mistaken) that these cannot be retrofitted. It's a spec them or lose them kind of option
If you want them for roof bars only, then Thule do a version that does not rely on rails

I believe that they can't be retrofitted as there is no fittings on the "standard" roof.

There may be other options however.

Thanks guys! I was fairly convinced the roof needed to be drilled in the factory and then the rails were secured from underneath, but thought I’d double check.

It might be worth a quick phone call to your OPC just in case the newer models have changed. Cheers.
