" A timeless classic" Well, I'd better stop bothering and carry on enjoying the drive
My S lost over 10% in 2 months. I’m not complaining only have another 32% to go.
Eventually received March 2023.

I bought my Turbo for cash in Sept 2016, it was new with a reasonable but not excessive set of options for £74,500
WBAC offered £28,400 in January 2024.
So that equates to just over £500 a month depreciation and right on track with my estimate.
Just how much are you PCP folks essentially throwing away each month in interest charges?
As has been said many times before, if you want cheap motoring Do Not buy a Porsche.

Mind you when I get to 80 I may be in a powered mobility scooter and will be burning rubber at the excessive flat out speed of 8mph.

Agreed, never bought a Macan for cheap motoring, that was never going to be the case. However, i did, in part, buy a Macan because i thought at the time that it would depreciate more slowly than other German brands. That was clearly an error of judgement based on the way they are tanking in value of late. I think the numerous price hikes over the last two/three years are going to be what really hits depreciation on the newer Macan's. I very much doubt owners of post 2020/21 Macan's who bought new will ever see something like average depreciation of £500 per month over a 6/7 year ownership period, as owners of 2016/17 cars have. Clearly the Macan has become another German car, mass produced, which loses bundles when you drive it out of the showroom.
I will be trying to catch you up at 7mph.Col Lamb wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 2:06 pmYep, that is the way to go.Monaco2323 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 12:42 pmFor cheap motoring Buy a daciaCol Lamb wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 12:15 pm I bought my Turbo for cash in Sept 2016, it was new with a reasonable but not excessive set of options for £74,500
