Would this affect re sale value as the car then wouldn’t match with the configurator, so not original. Would the colour change have to be declared to insurance as a modification?

Yes of course. But carrying around a quarter tonne in the boot that will change the handling and safety profile doesn't

Interesting fact in my recent negotiations on nearly new Macan GTS on the Porsche website

Bristol knocked 5k off the asking price on an over config priced Python green GTS, yet Preston would not budge on the price of their Python green GTS.

So these prices are negotiable but maybe not at all dealerships, even for cash deals !


Bristol I must add wanted me to buy the car in Feb to get it on/off the books /accounts.

I got offered a pre registered Gentian blue GTS with delivery mileage for £300 under the configuration price, and being pre registered a saving of around £1500 on RFL. The deal breaker was the 21” GT design wheels in satin platinum, I really prefer black wheels to match the black side blades and window trim.

For many folks, the satin platinum GT wheels would have sealed the deal!

Now you can get the Sports Exterior package as a separate option that's how I'd spec my GTS, except I'd go for black brake callipers.

It’s all about personal preference though isn’t it? For me black wheels tie in better with the black accents and window trim.
Lovely car though, exactly the same exterior that I considered.

I’ve just bought a 1 year old Python Green GTS from Guildford. Pick it up a week on Saturday…..900 mile round trip
