While looking for Macan theft rates, following the thread regarding the guy who's had 2 Macans stolen, I've come across this article. Very interesting read.

Looks like the EU are making things incredible difficult for the manufacturers, and forcing draconian safety features into cars.

Connecting your phone and even getting it serviced could become a whole lot more difficult. Not to mention wanting to sell your car in the future. Looks like cars in the future could well have a shelf life.

If what you say is right, and I haven'tlooked at the article yet, it just makes this car 10x more of a keeper than it was already. ;)

Yeah. How on earth would that work? They'd never be able to afford that, especially if you didn't buy another car off them.
