The PDK is brilliant but it needs to learn your driving style over time. I've had my 981 PDK for 9 years and the gearbox is super intuitive. It's as though it knows my thoughts.

Still getting used to the Macan S PDK but having had PDK for so long I know how to get the best out of it.

You need to give your very new car time, and vice versa.
Is that really true? That the PDK box is programmed to adjust its parameters based on driver inputs over time? How do we know this?
Also applies to PASM. It too will react to your driving style. E.g. in Sport chassis if you drive sedately for a while the suspension will soften up.

Really??? Where did you get this nugget from? I think if true, that would be a very bad thing 🤔

Well known. Do a Google? This from Porsche, doesn't fully explain.

How do I drive my Macan?

Well, today I was having such good fun I forgot I had the gearbox in manual hold setting and I bounced the revs off the limiter by accident coming out of a lovely apex and the car cut injection to save the engine from the idiot in the driving seat

Hopefully that answers the question!

Well you’re right it doesn’t fully explain!! 😂
I also don’t think it means it “learns” anything it’s just variable damping - think you are reading too much into it.

Sorry Jon but it does. Well known on here for a long time. We know that long periods of driving Miss Daisy slows everything down while some spirited driving will revive it. Likewise the PDK will slow down but can be restored by using the reset procedure, again despite the disbelievers has been established knowledge here for a long time.
