I am buying a 2024 Macan S and checking the current inventory with the dealer.

The one I am interested now has a button with departure lanes and wheel there like the pic attached. I supposed it means active lane keep like the car would steering itself to keep the car within the lanes? But there is nothing about this on the configuration sheets. So I am a little bit confused about it. Is it standard package with 2024 Macan S?

Thanks for helping.

Lane Keeping Assist
Camera-based system for automatic detection of divider line markings on the road.
Actively countersteers if your vehicle inadvertently threatens to leave the current lane.
System is available from approximately 65 km/h - 250 km/h.

In the Configurator usually known here as the Confuserator by each option there is a small circle with an i inside it, tap it or click it to get up the details of the function/feature

It’s an extra cost item. I had it on my last car - a waste of money. Innodrive is the Porsche equivalent to other makes driving assist packages but isn’t an option on the ICE Macan

I think it’s the standard lane departure warning (as opposed to lane keep assist). It makes a small chirruping sound if you deviate but does not actively try and correct the wheel

I have the button on mine and didn't spec it so it must be standard. I should probably go out and test what it does!

It’s standard but only for the warning as Jona says. If you want more than that you have to pay 😉

I did some researches and found that for the previous models, this lane departure warning came with another button with two lanes but NO wheel. But this one has wheel on it, so I thought it was different from lane departure assist. Do you mean in newer model, they are combined into just one button?

In true Confuserator style Porsche always adds to the mystery.

Lane Departure Warning is Standard, it chirps and gives a shake of the steering.

Then there are now two options:-

Ok, so in the previous models, they used two separate buttons but now they combine them into one button? And if you choose to pay for active lane keep, you will have additional option for active steering, correct?

In this post, it seems there are two different buttons for departure assist and active lane keep assist.
