Hi Roy. What Car and Porsche really pulled the stops out. We weren't given an opportunity to drive the car / being driven. I did fire up the engine though of the Turbo. Amazing sounding engine.

I have learned the following. 1400 odd RHD cars will be build and
delivered to the UK market in 2014.

The car was developed on every wheel
size. There isn't a base size or set up from which they started. PASM
is sufficient for every day driving on UK roads. Air suspension is a nice to have if you like a more comfortable drive with a trailer or if you want to drop the car by up to 1.5cm to load stuff in a very generous boot.

The 21" wheels you see in these pictures are absolutely gorgeous. I personally find them too big though. I would like to see the 20" and 19" wheels on the Macan as well. The 21" might just become tractor like if you also opt for Air Suspension and then drive with the car lowerd. There is no denying the stunning look though.

The quad DLRs in the xenons are only a feature of the Turbo or if you opt for either the Bi-Xenon lighting system incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System
(PDLS)

or the PDLS. Otherwise you will just get the LED strip similar to the Panamera (not the Panamera Turbo - the LED strips)on the Macan Turbo and the Panamera Turbo are similar. I'll post a picture of the lights below.

The Bose sound system sub woofer is packaged in a "sub floor" of the boot. You can have both the Bose sound system and a collapsible spare wheel. Both will be tucked into this "mezzanine" floor.

Also, talk of a 3 ltr Bi-turbo diesel seems pre-mature. Although this is my interpretation of the conversation, it seems unlikely that the above engine will make an appearance anytime soon. However, The response to whether there would be s GTS was more difficult to gauge. I would put money on a GTS before a 3litre twin scrub diesel.

I have been able to get a picture of the Carbon side blades. On the white car it offsets this feature beautifully. You have to see how it works on other colours and decide for yourself. Whether it's worth 800 quid is a personal choice. Picture below

I found the leather to be very soft and very sumptuous. The picture (below) is of the adaptive sports seats with heating only. These are not the ventilated seats. Apparently the holes in the leather are not just for the ventilated seats.

I also managed to get my hands on my own Macan to take home and finally play. The colour however won't be available on the road going versions until October. Besides this sapphire blue, there will also be a metallic red.
