Nosmo

Can't believe you have to add PDLS+ on top of xenons to get the quad lights, very disappointed in that.

What size tyre / options (PASM,Air) did the car have that you when on a test ride with? What was the ride quality like, I have ordered 20" but I'm coming from a Jaguar XF on 19" which if pretty smooth on UK roads, I would hate it to be as hard as the current BMW or some of the Audi.

So you get holes in the leather ventilated or not - wasn't expecting that

Thanks

Paul.

Xenons plus the PDLS+ as outlined below.

- Bi-Xenon lighting system incl. Porsche Dynamic Light
System (PDLS) at £ 1,060.00

- Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus at £ 328.00

-Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including
navigation module at £ 2,007.00

Thanks Nosmo, you may have cost me another 2500 cheers

Paul, marlie, almost 3.5k if you wish to have the quad lights. Then again, it does a whole lot more with the PCM. I personally believe that cruise control and voice control should be standard. Clever on the part of Porsche to show you some pictures with these lights in their marketing material.

We didn't get to drive the cars, nor were we driven in them. It was all held in a design studio. I believe the press will either be let loose the week of the 10th feb or are embargoed until then. The display car was on beautiful 21", although I thought they were too big for the car (a Turbo). Go up 2 pages in this thread to read my view. Again, very personal. Most dealers in the UK will have their first display cars on April 3rd which I believe is when Porsche officially launches.

I have spoken to my dealer regarding the Quad DRL and they come with the Bi-xenon PDLS option, PDLS+ is NOT required.

Dealer sent me a PDF which is shared below - just use link and download.

If clearly shows on page 2 that it's available with PDLS.

But do you need to have PCM?

Or just the Xenon PDLS option?

No PCM is only required for PDLS+ because it uses the navigation system to light up road junctions

PDLS+ is basically high beam assist with junction/intersection lights
