Spec locked .. now for a Detailer in Leeds

I've been told by Leeds OPC that I have a November build date for my Macan S .. yeah! In the (probably misguided) hope that it may increase the chances of that build date coming forward, I have just locked my spec down. And surprise surprise, the final cost is about £10k more than when I joined this forum!!
I am turning my attention to what is the best treatment for the paintwork, etc. when I pick it up. The OPC recommended some in-house treatment but I believe a specialist detailer may be the better option. Has anyone used one in the Leeds/West Yorkshire area that they can recommend? Will it really make much difference in terms of protecting the car, making cleaning it easier, etc.?

Thanks all

If you are willing to travel over the M62 to Rochdale, just off junction 20, I can highly recommend Iain at Finer Detailing.

He does a new car detail that takes a few days but is a fantastic job, Get the G3 Glasscoat and the dirty just falls off it when its washed, definitely worth the money

Cracking spec, I see you've gone for the Burmester, but I haven't heard, Have you? my OPC never had a car in that had it fitted and I still haven't done Silverstone [now 2.10.15] and the car is due to collect in September, from a Jan15 deposit date

Following the recommendations on this forum, I took my car to Finer Detailing today, to have the ceramic coating applied. Result ? See for yourself.

So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?
