Just checked. None in the 718 either. I'd imagine on a dry sump car, it would go in the oil reservoir?

My dash showed a Max 1.0L oil required warning last night at 7900, mainly motorway miles. I have to say I was a little shocked as the only other car I've added oil to in the 'modern era', post 2000, is an Audi A3 TDi, but that was at about 40,000 miles.

Finding this thread, it would appear that this is 'fairly normal', but I am still surprised that I'm having to add oil, even before adding AdBlue!!

My first SD needed 1/2 litre at around 5000 miles (no warning light, just my checking the guage which was down to about 1/2) and I put around 1 litre in my current GTS (in 2 goes) prior to the recent 20K service.
Oil is designed to be burnt off or “ consumed” as it does its’ job of washing away the cr@p left by combustion.....

Looking at your car history I'm very surprised you are shocked about oil consumption! Every 911 I've owned (new and old) has required at least 0.5L top up every 1000 miles or so. It's certainly normal and within spec. No idea on the Macan engines though.

Using my car as an example, until 10k miles it was using oil at the rate of 5000 miles per litre of oil. Consumption began to drop off after 10,000 miles. The car was last serviced at 19000 miles and is currently at 32000. I've added half a litre since that service and the level is currently still on maximum.

I had a Mercedes E320CDi and it used oil for the first 10k miles and not a drop afterwards. As Paul has said, it's nothing to worry about.

I haven't really done more than 4K pa in the other cars, so never had to add any oil between 2 yearly services. This one is running at 8k pa, so I guess may explain, but our Q5 does similar mileage and doesn't need any top ups between services?

In 3 1/2 years and 18000 miles I have never added oil to my SD. It had its first oil change at the two year point, about 14 months and 7000 miles ago.

My SD needed 1 ltr oil at 10,000ml but went through to 20,000ml service without further oil, all over ~18mths. I considered reasonable initial consumption for a new diesel.

😱😱 looser tolerances from new over the last 10 yrs or so.....maybe why engines should be run-in properly....😉😉 ( oops, here we go again!)
