Macan/21 is still 35/40 profile compared to a 911/21 with 30 profile.

Parked next to each other, the Macan looks perfectly normal :)
Used to have 2016 Macan Turbo PHCKCL70
Previously a 2014 Macan Turbo.
Now a 2021 Tesla Model 3 LR

I've just had a search through the official Porsche approved used car locator. Findings are:
56 used Macans of all types, 2.0l to turbo.
...
9 with standard suspension
3 with air and PASM
1 with PASM only
...

56 - 9 - 3 - 1 = 43. What kind of suspension did the other 43 have?

The other 43 didn't have 21" wheels fitted, i.e. they had 18", 19" or 20". Don't want to cause Rab any more work, but I'd bet that the majority of the other 43 had 20" wheels...

The picture does not do them justice, they look much better in the flesh, so to speak.

You'll see lots of pics of mine next Tuesday!! Big smile And I agree, I've seen a Macan in the metal at the OPC (white) with gloss black Sport Classics (like mine) and the wheels looked stunning. It was the showroom car & is now being driven by the chairman's son I believe...

I still struggle to see why people like the 21"classics so much... they look boring to me.... they don't look particularly sporting and I suspect would look better if you fitted some after market spinners. lol

Especially if you've gone for privacy glass as well!

This topic has been done to death.

For smooth ride, then 18"'s and 19"'s with Air and PASM are da bomb.

21" look the best but will lower the ride quality (especially if you live in areas where the roads are not silky smooth).

As for the "performance option", if you are outdriving the standard tyres on the public roads, then there is something very very wrong with you.
If you are outdriving the Macan tyres on a race track, then you in the wrong car.

As for those horrible "boy racer" blacked out rims on the GTS, dont get me started. But then I am over 30 years old so have a modicum of taste.

You have very strong opinions about things it seems. I would not order black wheels either, but can still think they look great in the right setup and color combo.

Based on your expressions it seems like you have driven all Macan variations (including the GTS that you say is harsh) and with all types of suspension and wheel sizes in different combination. Or are you just speeaking out based on stuff you have read on forums and in online reviews?

Can you share some info of your current Macan spec and a bit more about your REAL driving experience? Would be intresting to get this info and make up ones mind if your statements are valid or not.
