I was about to order a new rear wiper but decided to take 2 mins to reverse it as mentioned earlier.
Now no judder and a nice clean view out the back.
Don’t know how long this ‘fix’ will last but for now, all good. Thanks!

Just tried it on mine, but no real difference? Car is over 3 years old, so maybe the rubber goes past its 'sell by date'.

3 years is a long time for a blade to be operating efficiently; the graphite coating will have worn away a long time ago.

Just tried this as mine was juddering a bit....but when prising the clip of the blade it shot off, so not sure which way round it was or should now go🙄
The blade itself has two plastic bars over one half and no bars on the other half.
Could someone let me know if the bars (best way I can describe them) go under the arm or on the exposed part of the blade.

Just managed to take a couple of pictures with the blade each way round.
Can anyone advise which is the manufacturers way of fitting vs the fix mentioned on here.
Only difference to the blade is the two strengthening pieces on one side of the blade.

Hi - the ‘manufacturer approved’ way of placing the blade is with 2 strengthening pieces visible. My original (2016 Macan) blade only had one strengthening piece visible and suffered vibration from new. When I eventually had it replaced the Porsche parts department mentioned that the replacement blade with 2 strengthening pieces was an upgrade to prevent the vibration problem - and it worked for me!

Great thanks. The fix didn't seem to work on mine as the non approved way sounded worse and left areas unwiped. Probably off to Ebay for a replacement.

Despite the thread title suggesting A381H I found these to be a little short so went with A402H which are a little longer but still fit and work perfectly. My rear wiper was very poor from new so was replaced with Bosch almost immediately.

Was the new blade with 2 strengthening pieces fitted FOC as part of warranty work for the vibration or did you pay? I know not an expensive part and easily rectified through fitting a Bosch alternative but if some people have had problems from almost new then surely it should be covered?

I had the car detailed by my detailer before handover so considered the problem may have been due to the sealant applied to the rear window, although the fronts were fine. As such, I lived with it for some time in the hope that it would cure itself. In the end I simply bought the updated version.
