Does anyone know if I'll be able to collect my new Macan from Stuttgart rather than having to travel to Leipzig?
My dealership tells me that Porsche won't transfer it to Stuttgart
Factory Collection
The Macan is not built in Stuttgart?

Welcome, Alan
Surely Porsche would transport your new Macan from Leipzig to Stuttgart...for a price??
Although I would have thought Leipzig to Stuttgart transfer is cheaper for them than Leipzig to UK...?

I'm sure someone here will give you a nice competitive price to fly over to Leipzig, pick up your car and drive it to Stuttgart the long way round

Doubt it, it's a non standard one off request, unless of course you picked up from a Stuttgart dealer, just begs the question Why!

You should be able to choose either Leipzig or Zuffenhausen for factory collection of your Macan. At least that is how it works out here in Sweden and I don't see why it should be different if car is purchased from UK? Over here we even have the two options available in the Macan online configurator (Zuffenhausen or Leipzig) and if not selecting any of the two you pick up the car at the dealership.

I found the factory tour in Leipzig most enlightening and enjoyable, and the track experience is pretty good but not as good as silverstone. I flew by Ryan air to Leipzig, then drove around Germany and did pop into Stuttgart shop also but didn't go into that factory.
We did the Leipzig factory collection of a Macan S today and for us it was well worth the travelling and expense. The admin leading up to the trip was handled well by the OPC but they were learning as they went along. The official travel company was hopeless, we could have booked the trip for less ourselves if they hadn’t been so slow in getting flights booked.
Nobody tells you exactly the factory address so the German speaking taxi driver tried to drop us off at the local OPC at first. When we got to the factory gate we weren’t on the list. Slight panic build up and checking of dates. It turned out they just forgot to put us on the list. Finally made it to reception and then the whole day went perfectly. 6 or 7 laps of the track in a Macan Turbo, then 20 minutes on the off road circuit. Then top quality lunch followed by presentation of car followed by factory tour.
I highly recommend it if you’re an enthusiast.
