Ah, I can see the problem right away....it is the wheels, not the suspension. You need a decent set of 20" wheels, that would solve it!!
Dives for cover..... Wink
Hope they sort the real problem quickly. Smile

Ha ha! From an aesthetic perspective, in my view, Porsches look best with the larger wheels, which mean 21"s on a Macan or Panamera. And the 911 Turbo wheels are the pick of the bunch!

haha! Well these comments have brightened up an otherwise slightly horrific day.

Slightly upset at Porsche Assistance as I've got no replacement car to take me home... and I'm working about 25 miles away. I thought they would usually give me a replacement of theirs?

Yeh I tried turning the car off and on. I also tried leaving it overnight, but to no avail. I did drive into a big puddle on the way home on the M1 yesterday but I'm hoping that didn't fry the electrics...

I've also got a dashcam plugged into the cigarette port but doubt that would mess things up?

Or maybe it is the 21" wheels after all...

Replacement car us part of the package if your car is towed away....(organised through Enterprise from memory....and normally a "Medium prestige" 3 series or similar)

Probably too late tonight but you need to get back onto the dealership asap to sort some transport out.

Hopefully they'll fix it and it will be something straightforward......Paul2016-11-22 17:44:36

John says he's getting a 3 Series from Enterprise, but presumably it's not been delivered to the location of the breakdown/recovery.

Agate grey's new car suffered a failed rear strut, which was replaced and all fine subsequently. But a very similar experience to yours and with the same fault alarm on the dash.

Hope yours is fixed pronto.

Yeh I've been given a 3 series. Finally. Porsche didn't ok them to give me a BMW X5 they had in stock or some other Mercedes SUV so I had to wait till 1830 till the Enterprise driver came back from Grimsby with the 3 series... not the sterling service you'd expect!

I really do hope I get it back by Friday - or I get a Porsche hire car; gf lives in London so was hoping to impress her on Saturday with the new wheels...

An option worth its weight in gold!

I had it on Porsche # 1. It's not on Porsche # 2 so it was an absolute must have on Porsche # 3!
