You may already have discussed this already but I'd be interested to hear what forum members think about the Air Suspension. Have ordered the turbo, so will get the PASM as standard, I'm wondering if the air suspension is going to worth the extra 1k?

I think so, but then I have a Turbo with air due in July. But maybe depends why you're thinking about it. I spec'd it for the lower ride height and (hopefully) handling benefits. Having tested a Turbo on PASM only on 20s which was very smooth I don't think air is needed purely from a ride perspective.

Don't worry Russ, it will be good, lower ride height fills the arches a bit more so looks better, plus lower equals better cornering.

I tested a petrol S with 20s on PASM, no air, and it was fine, so I've ordered my turbo with 20s with no air.

I have A/S on mine (20" wheels) - Ride quality is excellent and the lower stance which can be set by default without having to press the button everytime makes the car look sportier in my view.
Then in the winter if you are in areas affected by flood or snow you have the added benefit of raising the car by 40mm.
Don't believe it's totally necessary but compared to options like CF blades IMO I think it offers reasonable value for money.

thanks guys, the main reason I opted for it was for the lower ride height, definitely improves the overall stance of the vehicle, glad to hear you can set it as default.

Hi Arifrajpura,
From what people seem to say from their test drives and ownerships("the lucky ones"), it does not seem to need the air suspension for decent ride quality, as the standard PASM seems to be good. However, in most of the motoring journalists reviews, they all generally say it improves the ride even more, so it depends on what you are looking for? Sorry not very helpful I too am getting the turbo, and have ordered the Air, the PTV Plus, and Sports Chrono. Rightly or wrongly, I personally feel, if you are going down the turbo route, spec the performance orientated features.( Not sure you will get all the money back come resale, but a well specced cayenne and panamera costs a considerable amount more than a less specced one. )
