Have just had my 18" wheels replaced with 21" Turbos. They make the car look soooo much better. It looked seriously under tyred on 18" and a bit "tip toey".

For those of you worried about ride comfort on 21"....don't. It's really very, very good. I expected the ride to deteriorate much more than it actually does. FYI, I only have PASM with SC. Not AS.

The steering firms
up quite a bit too making the car feel less prone to wandering at the slightest steering
input which tends to happen on the 18" when out on the highway. The car
now feels much more planted. I like it!

Looks great Macan1. Big difference between the 18s and 21s. I am going for 20s so hopefully not too much of a difference. I take it you ordered the 21s post delivery. If you do not mind me asking how much did they cost? Macanmark2014-05-19 17:29:08

Well done - the 21" definitely give the car more presence.
Has anyone priced up the difference in cost for replacement tyres from say 20" to 21"?

The came with 18" because it was a launch car which the dealer offered me instead of waiting until September. I was going to upgrade to 20" SportDesigns which the dealer quoted me at 5,300 euro inc VAT.

Instead, I sourced a set of 21" Turbos from Germany inc tyres for 4,900 euro. The dealer quoted me 7,700 euro for the same wheels. So I got 21" for less than the dealer quoted me for 20".

Although I must admit that I have also ordered a set of 20" SportDesign wheels with winter tyres from Germany for 3,700 euro inc tax. So 21" Turbos for summer and 20" SD's for winter.

Tempted to go the same way. What was the process for ordering direct from Germany?

Sounds like a great idea.

Some more photos of the 21" wheels on my Macan.

I am very happy with the combination of these wheels on white. To my mind, white is Porsche. Just look at all
the famous racing Porsche over the years....most have been white or largely
white. The Martini Porsche is a great example. I would never have any other
colour.

Looks absolutely stunning. So pleased that I'm also going for white with 21" rims and carbon blades. Agree that White is a true Porsche colour and really shows to good effect the features of the Macan.
