I'm beginning to think the Macan is an old man's car...

Or swing it round and feel young again in your 40's surrounded by OAP's! Is there a Porsche holder for the blue badge on the dash - prop it up behind the clock! LOL

I'm so envious of you guys receiving your cars, I've got such a long wait until the second half of 2015. Parson911 did you not add PCM?

I wish that I could wave a magic wand and yours would be on the boat. It's far to long to wait, life's too short. PCM, no, had it on my 997 and hardly ever used it. On the few occasions that I use Satnav I prefer it sited in my field of vision in the right hand corner of the screen.

Don't kid yourself. With my Subaru cap back to front and shades on no one will tell the difference between us

When your retired it doesn't matter if you get lost - you can just get lost for longer!

When you have lived in the UK for as long as I have your not lost for long anyway.

Cool
I had the new style Subaru 08plate (hatchback) WRX STI - But I never had the cap! LOL
That was one of those cars you just had to get out of your system. Think I had it 18 months.. Won't be having another..

No PCM - well at least you will look good when you are lost! WinkLOL
Diesel S Ordered 07/12/2013 - Delivered 29/01/15 - Sold 15/06/16.

Me too, just had to have one but mine was just the 2004 WRX in red. Kept mine 3 years, loved that car but accumulated a few points on my licence. I bought a cap but gave it to the little lad next door who was Subaru/ Richard Burns mad. Took him for a few demo's, he loved that.

Brilliant news Parson911.. The spec sounds just right and from all the posts here showing white cars, it's going to look great especially with those side blades and 20's... I really do wish I had chosen white and put to extra money to something else. I'm told my May completion date hasn't changed so will expect to be in my Macan within a few weeks.. Fingers crossed.

Piercy, Initially chose Agate Grey then changed to white, carbon blades and stainless aprons. The big risk is Agate full leather and Carbon. I have since seen black and it's not as dark as I imagined it would be so here's hoping Agate looks Ok.

I'm 58 this year and this will be my first Porsche at the same age! Although I don't have the same opportunity to put a car through its paces on a small Island, I really enjoy driving in France and track days in the UK. Still hoping to collect the car from Germany in a couple of weeks and the chance of driving on the Porsche track in Leipzig. Great spec and looking forward to the photo's. Us 'oldies' can still get excited by cars and picking up ideas from the forum.

Tefal, the first is the best experience so enjoy it. When I was young I always wanted a Porsche. I remember my missus buying me a model of a 911 for Xmas and saying this is the nearest you will get to owning one. Sod that I thought and now I'm on my third. All systems go for Saturday and I hope to post photos ASAP. Drive carefully in Germany, they are bonkers.
