One shot window opening

My car works on one press, window opens fully.

But.... I have a question, why is it not possible to close the rear door with the remote?

And can anything be done about the big horrible plastic thing we have to carry about re the alarm/tracker? It doesn't have a ring hole on it so can't be attached to the car keys. Thought's?

You mean tailgate? Ours doesnt close on the interior button or you just saying tailgate button and remote control? Be good if interior drivers door button closed it unless ours is faulty, good for school drop off - kids take bags and then dont need to get out. Also good for teh OAP's

Thanks Malc, I mean the tailgate will open via the key fob but not close. Not sure why this is?
Is there any other way to close it other than the tail gate button?

Being a second class citizen who does not have his Macan yet I am only going on the good to know app.

There are two ways to close the tailgate.
1 - With the ignition switched on, press and hold button in the driver's door.
A warning tone sounds and the tailgate closes.
2 - Press the padlock button (not the tailgate button) on the driver's key once. ( implies this should close the tailgate)
The vehicle is locked.
