I must admit I was really surprised by the Macan GTS....at the PEC day using launch control.. it felt like whitchcraft , it was the instructor that suggested it after I told him I wasn’t really interested in doing it , a big mistake on my behalf.

The drive train engages with a bit of a thump. Having started the process I wanted to see it through. However I was so embarrassed at the revving at traffic lights the finer points were lost on me. It’s a bit ram stam and not the correct way to treat a family car.
Macan SD Vocano Grey. LEDs, Pano Roof, PSE, Sports Chrono, PASM, Sports Design Mirrors, 21" Sports Classics in Black, lots of other extras.
http://www.porsche-code.com/PJ2XHAR5 for the day that this works again.

Spoke to Porsche Wolverhampton today who said that Sport Plus could not be retrofitted to my 2018 Macan Turbo as it does not have the analogue clock fitted. Has anyone else experienced this ?
So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

Nonesense! Sport Plus is a software upgrade.

No, you won’t get the dashtop clock / stopwatch but you will get everything else.

Goron had it retrofitted to his 2015(?) Turbo so unless things have changed drastically since then, you have been misinformed (or they couldn’t be @rsed to check properly😉)

Paul, thank you. Thinking that Wolverhampton might be wrong, I called Wilmslow service department. "We will check and call you right back" that was at 2 pm today - still waiting.

So after a subtle email prompt from me that began "are you sure of your facts ..?" Porsche Wolverhampton have now confirmed that Sport Plus can be fitted, they have ordered the switch and booked the car for the work to be done next week. Happy days.

Still waiting for the 'phone call back from Wilmslow ...........

👍😂😂
...Top tip....when you drop the car off, casually ask “have you received the programming code from the factory yet.....?

If there follows a pause and a blank look, you probably won’t get the car back the same day!

Oh boy !! Just got back from Porsche Wolverhampton with Sport Plus now fitted. To me it makes quite a bit of difference and certainly adds to the Macan Grin Factor.

The usual professional and polite service at Wolverhampton.
