Been quoted £640 to retrofit the Sport Plus without the Chrono24 spider on the dash.

Sound reasonable, anyone else had it done and if so how much.

Is it really worth it over Sport Mode? I don't intend to use the launch control feature too often.

I had it done on my SD in March last year for a total of £500.

Whether it is worth it all depends on your driving style when you like to make rapid progress.

I would certainly never order any Petrol engined Porsche without SC.

I believe that goron had SC retro-fitted on his first Turbo, but that was not MY17... Ermm

Personally I doubt you'll ever use SC more than once. If the next owner wants it they can also retrofit it.

BTW my turbo didn't have it, the GTS does but I haven't used it properly.

If you're not going to use launch control or the fancy telemetry downloads then you can access virtually all that SC gives you by putting in in manual (if you ignore the milisecond quicker gearchanges) ; SC just makes it easier.
I've used the normal sport button on my GTS a bit but to be honest on today's roads all it does is wear out the brake pads 'cause there's always some bugger in front!

Always amused "will never use it" comments, like SC is just one thing.
Would be good, for once, to have a thread about SC that didn't have those comments.

And I promise to join in as soon as I get my SC-equipped Panamera 4! Thumbs Up

Nah, I've had too many threads hijacked within a page. I just enjoy my car and keep it to myself these days.

Smile Thumbs Up
And my apologies, as I suspect that I have been a hijacker on more than one occasion! Embarrassed
Once run in, I will start a thread in praise of SC.
