My right windscreen wiper hits the side of the windscreen as it sweeps. Anyone else have this problem?

Did not have that, but my left hand wiper was still visible when in park position, so had it adjusted to park out of sight. No doubt your right hand wiper can be adjusted to stop hitting the A post.

Any one find braking from high speed a slight problem in that do the pads need warming up prior to pressing the peddle or is it me not pressing hard enough ,,
sometimes at high speed the pads feel like stone just rubbing on the disc, I havent felt this in my last vehicle and that was the same weight,.

Last week the macan went in for a brake check
as we had slight squeel like it needed copper grease on the back of the pads and they were fine just dust and were 30 % worn which was reported as properly bedded in and in perfect condition. jonmacan2014-12-15 22:06:43

I had this on the first service in my Freelander 2. 15,000 miles and it said 30% worn on the report sheet.
I finally replaced them at 95,000 miles and they told me that they still had 20% left !!!

Hiya - I've just finished a 24 hour test drive in the Macan diesel (Friday 19/12/14) and wanted to add a bit about the brake-grabbing;
I must admit to noticing that manoeuvring the car at low speeds (especially parallel parking etc.) was awkward. I had made a mental note that I should expect to disable the auto start/stop for these manoeuvres as the engine stops very readily and does lead to jerkiness due to the engine starting and stopping.
To me, when you brake at these low speeds it seems as though the engine torque is detached from the drive at the same time as the brakes are applied, especially in reverse. Most people usually compensate for the continual torque/drive from 'automatic' gearboxes, and if this torque is taken out of the equation at the point that the brakes are applied, then it's a double whammy and you stop far more readily than you expect to. In hindsight, it makes me wonder if the same effect occured when the auto start-stop was disabled and I must admit to not looking out for this after removing the start-stop from the equation.
Can anybody with the 'brake-grab' actually try with and without auto start-stop to see if this makes any difference?

PS - what a machine? I know that you should not buy a Porsche to watch the MPG figures (is there no instant MPG output, is it just average?) but there is no way 46mpg will be achieved! Even with the Mrs. driving it along a favourite stretch of road towards Brecon, the MPG dropped below 30mpg! I have read comments about thelack of noise/burble/grunt, but the model we had (Diesel S) was just superb!
Cheers

I do a regular A47 run to Norfolk and my Macan returns 45-47mpg. The best was a 20 mile run returning 53.1mpg. I know it's a bit sad but the traffic was slow 50-55ish so used coast a lot to just see what could be achieved, and it lessens the boredom. more spirited driving returns 32-35mpg.
