I have had 3 Macans - 2 turbos and 1 SD with a combined depreciation of 3k. Kept each car for 6months or less!

That's an astonishing track record! I've got a lot to learn and maybe could then be in a 911 C4 GTS!
No longer part of the Porsche Family. Now enjoying a Giulia Quadrifoglio.

Thanks Hawkeye - my Gen 1 991 C4GTS only lost 2.5k in the 8 months I had it! So over the last 4 Porsches, that was a combined depreciation of under 6k for the last two years of driving pretty nice cars.

Not sure I'll ever repeat that but I'm betting that my 991.2 C4GTS will also have solid residuals as not many being released and wait is now over a year. And yes I never overspec a car as you'll see from my current spec below.

I was just offered £57.5 k for my 6 month old GTS with 7000 miles on it by a Porsche centre. cost was £68500 . Seemed a bit low so I will keep it for three years at least. I was considering a new Panamera but it was a fleeting whim anyway. The article is not in the real world............
