I m Driving in Europe city is the very nice city.

Off to France (Normandy) next week for a few days. Have just been informed that the French have reduced their standard A and B road speed limit from 90 to 80 kmh. Must've missed this in the press - useful to know!

Indeed! Macron’s announcement almost prompted a revolution. Will certainly take the shine off many a trip. :evil:

Yes, getting a bit like over here where 50mph limits have been springing up over the last few years☹️
The French have also significantly increased the number of speed cameras (both real and dummy) over the last year or so!

And now you get a fine on your return to the UK if caught as the British government agreed to share the DVLA info.
We got two fines from Germany a month ago from the same spot on the way out and the return leg. My fine was Euro 20 and Rob's was Euro 30 for driving over the limit by 11 and 17 kilometers respectively.

So be prepared. ;)

I also have heard that the French have plain vehicles - and freelancers in all sorts of stuff! 😱

On the upside (if there is an upside to all this) the continental punishment is financial only...no UK points to loose and no potential insurance premiums hike...
