One of the popular ones and well respected is ALA.co.uk
I have had several cars covered by them (never made a claim) and thier services has been excellent.
I always take the 5 year policy as you can get a refund or transfer to another car if you sell it and that's all at today's prices. ( their prices like all insurance has already gone up 10% in the last 5 months since I took my policy).
I also went for vehicle replacement Plus which costs a little more but In a few years time it will cost a fair bit more than what I paid to replace the Macan or other cars. Premium is a little bit more for vehicle replacement plus and premium doesn't change upto value of £75k car with a £50k payout which is one of the highest.
You can get 11% discount with this code VCLOUDALA11

I know of others who have claimed and the process worked well and as expected.
There are other GAP insurance companies to look at and compare.
You pay your money and hope you never have to use it but for £90 ish a year it's a no brainier. Kasfranks992017-05-15 14:10:32

Thats amazing KF thanks. And thanks for the code. Thought vehicle replacement + might be most appropriate. The macan is the wife and I's introduction into the porsche brand so we thought we should insure it to the hilt for piece of mind. Will probably look at alloy cover as well
