GTS MPG
Was just wondering if GTS owners could answer me a question , what would you say is the realtime MPG , just need some real figures to settle a discussion, I know what my original Petrol S was just wondering if there was much difference - Regards Spud

Shouldn't be much difference to an S Petrol I would think and depends totally on your driving.
I get maybe 27 on an A road run at steady speed of 55 to 60. Add in a bit of town work and it's showing maybe 22. Look at an average of 24 to 25 and it should be pretty close.

My long term average is just over 21 but that's from new. 5000mls. I do seem to find it easier to average 25+ on a run these days now its well run in. I am certainly not a Miss Daisy driver and usually only manage the manufacturers urban figure on cars I've owned so pleased enough. Over the first three thousand miles I often averaged below 20 so a few miles on the clock certainly seems to have helped.

...but then again, I guess that the Macan is a much bigger, heavier car and is also less aerodynamic than an M3...?

I feel the forum members are slightly reluctant to discuss GTS MPG because they are so shockingly low! I did manage to record 30+ whilst driving through road works on the motorway for several miles. In truth my experience over several thousand miles ,real time day to day use is more like 15-20 ! I know we don't buy a Porsche for fuel economy ,but this is about as low as most vehicles on the road. Any body considering the move from diesel to GTS with fuel economy in mind beware.
