Surround View Cameras Not Working

Set off for work this morning and all working fine but upon arrival I reversed into my normal spot and was greeted with a black screen when the sensors were activated. No camera view to either the front, back or side.

I turned the engine off, locked the doors and then reopened and started the car but still no cameras.

Anyone experienced similar?

Yes, I have.

Only started Monday last week when we were at a hotel on the outskirts of London.

Switched off, removed key, then restarting engine cured it.

Since then it has happened twice more, but no problems for the last 5 days or so.

I'll let you know when I get back into the car later if the cameras reappear. Strange how this has happened to you just recently.

Now and again I have issues with the PCM with erratic things happening. It's not very encouraging.

After getting back into the car several hours later they were working as per normal.

I've become used to turning my PC off and on again when something isn't working but didn't expect to have to do it as frequently as I have for my car!

Its these Software Engineers producing flawed products that we have learned to accept as normal.

If us Mechanical Engineers gave you a car that did not start if there is a R in the month something would soon be done about it.

That's civil engineering!
Ps
My Macan S is back at the dealer at the moment for their 3rd attempt at fixing my PCM display problems. If your new colour TV decided that now and again you could only watch BBC1 in black and white and no ITV you'd soon send it back and demand either your money back or a replacement, why should we accept similar things from a £60k car.

Except it's certain that there's a hardware issue here.

If the car is under 6 months old and they are in their third attemp you almost certainly could reject it for a refund.....
