Yea, I quite like the early pencil-drawn versions, but the newer ones with extra panels are quite good too :)

Ps
My Macan S is back at the dealer at the moment for their 3rd attempt at fixing my PCM display problems. If your new colour TV decided that now and again you could only watch BBC1 in black and white and no ITV you'd soon send it back and demand either your money back or a replacement, why should we accept similar things from a Β£60k car.
I would actually like a telly that had no ITV...

No, no, no.

That is not Mechanical Engineering, its Civil Engineering.

A Civil Engineer has two tools, namely a hammer and a contraceptive.

If they cannot use the hammer then F......... it.

I agree Paul, I could reject it, but I really like it and waited 14 months for it. If I reject it do I get a refund or do they make me a similar car and jump the queue so I get it quickly.

Sorry about hijacking this thread!

Have to say I am very disappointed with the issues I have experienced involving the PCM.

You can toss a coin as to when and if CarPlay functions correctly. The SatNav causes my media to blank out when it wants to make an announcement, the phone doesn't always connect and now the issue with the surround view cameras not working and requiring several hours rest before they decide to function again.

Still, it looks nice.

That is a bit poor Barry with the PCM issues.
Seems there are a number of car manufacturers suffering similar issues and some far worse than porsche. i am wondering when and if there will be a software update as I would think this will go a long way to solve some issues. Will no doubt create a few new ones.

Have you tried to power off the PCM by holding down the volume knob and then switching it back on after a couple of mins to see if that helps so you at least don't have to stop and power down the car?

Hi Kas.

The same issue occurred again, last Saturday, but I've only just seen your post so, no, I haven't tried your suggestion but will do next time as I'm sure it will happen again.

When it first happened turning the car off and on again didn't work, it was only when I returned to it several hours later that the cameras came back to life.

Whether this is a VW / Audi thing or not I don't know as my previous car, a Q3, had a similar issue with the satnav which would sometimes not engage and would only work again after leaving the car turned off for a number of hours!
