So a bright red 318is it was - great car, if a little tail happy! Can you imagine it didnt have a radio or alarm or remote locking included.....
We went to the dealer to buy a used E30 325i sport but ended up with a new E36 320i which we bought without driving (we did drive the 325i). Should have got the E30. Though some years later I did have an e30 M3 which was a bit special.

Been out with tube of Gummiphledge and treated all the rubber seals but not made any difference. Will investigate further at the weekend.
Creaks have mysteriously disappeared overnight. The only think I can think of is that the Gummiphledge has worked its magic on the door seals. However I have a sneaking suspicion that after heavy rain overnight the rain has moistened the felt type seal around the top of the door frame. I only put Gummiphledge on the rubbers and not the felt type seal.

Silicone spray is good for the felt seals if it persists...

I cant be sure but mine sounds a deeper clunking almost metallic noise than a plastic liner (that makes it sounds worse than it is). Im not really mechanical in any shape or form but ill maybe put my head down the footwell for a mooch about
