Leaving the Macan fold too

Well it's goodnight from me. After 7 months with our Macan SD, I've finally persuaded my wife that I should never have sold my Boxster (took a bit of convincing but got there in the end). The Macan was sold to a new PC who are desperate for stock so they gave us a good price. I found a beautiful Miami blue 718 in Belfast - ex sales managers car - at a great price. Good spec too so can't wait to pick it up next week :D :D . Dealing with Ben who has been great so far.

PS - anyone interested in buying Macan boot liner & rubber mats - looking for £95 (cost new £170 and no we didn't get any freebies!!)

Nice colour :D
They still have a Cayman at my OPC in Miami Blue.
Did you have a 718 B before ? We test drove one a couple of weeks ago as we were thinking of a Cayman next.

At least you're sticking with Porsche! ;)

Please keep in touch with the forum. Look forward to hearing about your new 718.

Any pics...? :geek:

No last one was a Gen 2 987 Boxster S - a bit reluctant to go for the 718 due to the change to 4 cylinders & turbo and the fact we couldn't go for the 718S. Test drove a PDK 718S at our local PC this week - had sport chrono (which ours hasn't) & sports exhaust (which ours has) - turning sport plus & sports exhaust on turned it into a right hooligan :D :D - sounded like a frantic Ferrari but it convinced me I could live with a 718. Original plan was to look for a good spec 981S but they're asking too money and hard to find one with the right spec. I would only have wanted to change in 3 years time so it was a no-brainer.

Good luck v8trev. As good as the Macan is, it's still no replacement to a 718 or 911.

Enjoy and love to see the pics of the new toy 👍

👍
We had a 718 S PDK for the weekend (with PSE) .......hooligan doesn't come close!
No SC but not necessary, a bit gruff with the 4 pot and not as pure as a 6 cylinder but the power is so linear!
And so much fun. Select manual, keep it in second in sport mode, take it to 4000 rpm and lift off the throttle 😀😀😀😀
