Max will be 3 of us with luggage, which can go on the seat and leave the boot for the dog - for the once or twice a year we need it!
In that case nothing is stopping you to go for a Macan. :)

As people said above in this thread, the dog is happy to sit up against the back seats and look out of the rear window or rests his head on top of the back seats to check us out (we removed the middle head rest). Or he lays down and has a good sleep. 8-)
Our stable:
- 992 Carrera T - manual - Ruby Star Neo - Carrera Excl. wheels (2023)
- BMW 240i xDrive (G42) - Portimao Blue - AC Schnitzer tune
ex: 981 Cayman GTS, Macan S Diesl, Macan Turbo, 991.2 Carrera S, 718 Cayman GTS, i30 N, 718 Cayman GTS 4.0

I had a leggy lurcher in the back of my Macan with no problem standing or turning. Got the Porsche boot & bumper mat - cheaper versions available & and excellent easily fitted dog guard from Travall https://www.travall.co.uk/porsche/macan ... rd-tdg1463

Even if you are a dog, you should have better taste in cars! 😉

As promised to Kramh, here are two photos from inside with the tailgate shut. There's enough space for a 38 Kg labrador to sit up or lay down. 😃

The windows are tinted and we took the middle headrest out.
