Spook, I'm not sure why the car is not on the locator but it is only one month old. I was surprised that it was for sale when I asked as I'm sure the same OPC told me that normally they have to keep cars ( showroom and demos) for 6 months before they can sell them. The salesman did say that they are trying to meet their September sales target so maybe that's why it's for sale now. Also they don't have any more 911 build slots left for delivery in 2017 and any orders placed now would not be delivered until late March at the earliest. Maybe they are trying to fill sales gap in 911's. I agree that some of the website information appears to be out of date.

Any reason you don't like agate grey?

If you look at the locator it usually gives a date in the blurb when the demos will be available so that is a bit strange.

I initially selected Agate Grey for my Macan then Porsche discontinued it (during my wait) and the scramble was on trying to get sample pictures of Volcano Grey to see what it was like, between the two i prefer VG, IMO the AG does have some brownish tints in certain light. If it was the only Grey colour on offer I would select it, however this time i'm going for GT Silver.

Nearly bought a C2 in basically my spec off the Locator a few weeks ago, only two things missing , rear camera and cruise (this a must for me) driving my temporary car with out it a the moment is a pain. One negative was it was a FEB 17 on a 66 plate, close though.

I'd definitely spec PSE on a 911 (3.0 turbo) . Having used a demonstrator for a week whilst my Cayman S was in for a seat swap, the engine sound is so quiet in standard trim. Great on a journey but not so great when you want to feel like you are driving a sports car. I wouldn't bother with Sports Chrono. I'd also go for the Sport + seats but not bother with 18 way. You'll spend all day trying to set them up. The only other thing which disappoints with the standard 718 & 911 are the black brake calipers. They tend to go a milky grey colour very soon from new. Spec PCCB and get yellow calipers and no brake dust of jump to the S!
