Brake Dust

Standard wheels on our Petrol S and yes, brake dust "heavy" at the best of times, even on a routine semi-urban commute. Big discs probably don't help, but the alloys could use a "Teflon" finish like many other luxury cars.

Yep, loads of break dust. Every time. I'm blatting on the autobahns at the moment for the German leg of a road trip. It's even worse breaking from high speeds. I was on the Leipzig track this morning and the wheels were dusted but not filthy after pushing a hired Cayman for an hour. Could it be the material used for the pads?

As usual you have the solution Wingco, but you could get the wheels valeted daily for years for less money!

Yes, indeed! :lol:

I think that most people who spec PCCBs do so for the looks and the fact that they keep the wheels cleaner for longer. I would think that very few actually drive in that small window, probably on a track, where they would really appreciate the performance of PCCBs over the already excellent standard Porsche brakes. :ugeek:
