Look forward to seeing the photos of your new GTS. I would be particularly interested in your thoughts on the protective coatings you are having applied and whether they are worth the extra cost.

PPF Film and the Gtechniq Black are all applied along with the OEM Load Sill Protection (On the configurator for Β£41.00). I'm also going to get clear 3M protection put on the sills of the rear doors by my local graphic signage company as there aren't sills guards on there and my kids climb in and out of the car and I can see it getting scratched!
The instructions received by Reep tell me not to wash the car for 2 weeks to let the PPF settle down and any air bubbles to disappear (the film is applied wet) and not to pressure wash the PPF close up (ideally from 3-4 ft away).
Initial comments on the PPF is that you cannot tell the car has it fitted unless you get up close and look very closely or rub your fingers over the panel edge. The fit is perfect on all panels covered (Bonnet, Front Bumper, Front Wings).
I will update once I have given the car it's first wash to see how easily the dirt falls off the body and how easy the wheels are to clean.

The spec of your GTS looks great and very similar to what I would choose myself but Iβm puzzled by the addition of the 18β space saver wheel when you have 21β wheels on the car?

That's the standard size regardless of wheel size fitted. It just has a larger sidewall to match the rest. The only other size for space savers is the one if you have ceramic brakes fitted which need a larger wheel to fit over the callipers.

As Big Phil says it's the one available on the configurator (Β£600 if bought as an accessory at a later date) and is only there if I ever get a puncture and need to change it quickly. Otherwise it will be a call to Porsche Assist to recover the car and take to get a new tyre fitted.
I also have tyre insurance @ Β£6.99 a month so no replacement tyre costs
