Hi all,
I have a new Macan arriving in December and I’ll be using it to commute into London. (Did the whole “should I wait for the face lift” thing but decided life was too short - was told it will be out by end of 2018 for those interested)
On my route I have a 7 foot width restriction followed by a 6 foot 6 inch restriction (you know it’s a short cut when you find a width restriction!).
Does anyone know if you can squeeze a Macan through a 6’6” width restriction?!
Thanks for your help!
Macan vs Width restriction
6'6" (2m) (ish) is a common width restriction and most are wider than the claim.
However, I wouldn't trust one I didn't know.
A Macan can squeeze through a 6'6" (1.98m) gap, although you may want to fold your mirrors in if the restriction is shoulder height.

I live in London and often go through 7ft restrictions. It always feels narrower than it probably is. A 6ft 6 restriction would definitely have me weighing it up pretty closely and breathing in as I went through!

I posted this elsewhere.....
....a bit daunting, probably due to the height / tunnel effect, and the fact that it kinks to the right towards the end....but with the mirrors folded in we made it through!

It does. It lets you see exactly how far your bodywork/wheels are from an obstacle.
Though if you get it wrong on entry, it could be tense backing out

If you drive really fast the car will be more streamlined and will fit through easier.... maybe
