But what are we going to do with the Lithium from the used / faulty batteries !! it's very dangerous or have we just forgotten about that and health and safety have flown out if the window !!!!

Apparently spent batteries can be, and are being, reused as home power storage packs. But no worries as in 5 years lithium will be prohibitively expensive.

That's the basis of Tesla's Powerwall project - take the failing batteries out of Tesla cars and recycle them in less demanding domestic situations.

Incidentally, you know that Tesla uses torch batteries? 7000 of them in a Model S.

Who cares, it’s fun to drive. I go out just for a drive, only look at the fuel gauge to decide whether I need to fill up at the start or the end of my outing!

I have just come out of a sport diesel (ALPINA D3) and around town I am getting 16mpg in the GTS. Ouch!

Not worried about the money as the miles are low, but filling up every week is new!!
