Lots of talk on here about mpg and how your car is crap if it’s not a diesel.

But ultimately, it’s fuel cost.

After a year of accurately tracking, I’ve achieved £14.67 per week.

Mainly because I don’t waste miles on boring journeys / commuting, I suppose.

Mostly Shell 98, some BP 97, no 95s.

How many miles covered in that year, goron?

I live inLondon & do mainly short journeys so only average about 17 mpg, but what a fantastic car to do them in! 😀

Something like 2400 so far. Still have about 90 miles in the tank so will be a bit more.

I usually do around 7k a year; it’s been a low, this one.

Isn't it a bit sad to record your fuel costs to the penny? Where's the sheer enjoyment of just driving a great car?

Exactly! I guess your quite new here.
This is just a humorous nod to countless mpg posts we have on this forum.
Indeed my “hello” post a couple of years back was greeted with mockery about my fuel range by SD owners.

I don't recall that, but do recall lots of derogatory comments towards SD owners :?
