Hmmm, thanks Guy Image

I think I need to phone a couple of other dealers and see what they come back with.

Just found this which suggests Porsche Chester want to charge me £100 for this sealant.

Just spoke to Porsche Wolverhampton and they have quoted me exactly what it says on the above fixed priced servicing sheet.

Looks like Chester have just lost themselves my custom.

^ The link doesn't work.

I now use Porsche Wolverhampton (transfer box. minor warranty work, MOT and warranty extension) and have been very impressed so far - I usually deal with Avril. I didn't have my service with them, as it was before I lived here.

Link fixed now Guy.

Yes I think Porsche Wolov will be my preferred dealer. Just waiting a call back from Dave in service.

Sounds like Wolverhampton OPC is a good move. :)

Did either OPC mention anything about charging extra for any work connected with servicing the air conditioning? I've seen this mentioned on another thread connected with Porsche servicing. :geek:

No WC, no mention of any other cost.

I will wait in their show room drinking copious amounts of coffee and be ready for any shenanigans regarding further cash extraction :D

Whenever my car is in, I wangle a courtesy car for the day! Making the most of the benefits of owning a Porsche! ;)

My first service is due in early December and my car has done around 16,000 miles. It will be interesting to see what mid Sussex will want to charge. I am expecting them to send me an email soon to arrange a date. OR do I need to approach them?

I would contact them, especially if you’re planning to request a courtesy car.

+1
Porsche dealers don’t seem as pro-active with their service reminders as others (at least, mine isn’t) and yes, if you want a loan car 6 weeks lead time isn’t unheard of
