I like a bit of DIY as much as anyone, this is one I'll fix later, any advice?

Good idea!Ian.g wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2017 12:25 pmI would keep it in case you have another puncture when your tyres are down near 4mm. That will then be a free replacement - or only the fitting cost.PJS wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2017 5:26 pm I've just had the second puncture in 6 months on the same rear offside wheel. Frustrating, but that's meant that the insurance has almost paid for it self already. As i'd done 12k miles, the rears were both on 4mm, and my OCD wouldn't have lived with one replacement tyre, so I sprung for the nearside one myself. I've kept that tyre and will probably ebay it.
That is very similar to what I've just had happen!Bigboyrolo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2017 12:32 pmDIY seriously? Not on a Porsche though?blurty wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2017 11:20 am It's not hard to repair tyres oneself, if a simple puncture

I hit a big piece of lorry tyre at 90kph.
No idea. Wife was driving, I wasn't there. Cue phone call " I think I've got a puncture, what shall I do ?"
