Had it once in almost a year. Off and on solved.

I wonder if any of the newer Macans delivered in the last few months have updated software?

There is a thread somewhere (which I cannot find) on software versions that we all posted some time ago which may be worth a visit and newer members to add to it which may help identify a pattern.

My surround has failed twice in 6 months. Both times back to OPC and both times no fault found as it starts working again when engine restarted. Not great but in my experience pretty much par for the course with Porsche PCM and driver tech. Porsche need to up their game on the tech and media to offer similar standard to BMW and Audi etc. Just the superior driving experience alone will not suffice for today's generation of digital & tech savvy customers.

I've also seen it 3-4 times in a year probably over 500+ cycles. As Colin says recovers after restart but does not seem to recover otherwise, I have seen it steadfastly stay as blank screen over an hours journey. Fortunately the prox sensors work and display.

Had the car for almost 13 months and done a tad under 8000 miles, mostly short journeys with a couple of longer ones. I’ve never experienced a problem with the surround cameras.
