Just spotted a high spec GTS for sale with Top555.

£71,950 caught my eye.

2016/66. 11,900 miles.

Big spec including 911 Turbo wheels, SC, GTS interior, Bose, 18-ways, Air, pano roof, LEDs, carbon fibre everything, rev cam, heated seats, PS+, towbar, entry & drive and more...

DMS ECU mapped to 420bhp.

I am not on commission.

I priced it up at around £74k as near as I could get it if ordered today.

A racechip would of brought 420bhp and never seen by a dealer..unlike a remap.

Agreed, but for £71,950, I'd spec my own (red) brand new GTS and pocket the change! ;)

Even if removed it will leave traces of it's presence. Things like fuel pressure, injection metrics, torque and so on are monitored by s/w in the car. If Porsche were looking at a big bill they would be easily able to discover the engine had been 'tuned'.

Indeed Audi look for signs of chipping, remap etc whenever the car is connected to their diagnostic system. If such signs exist the code 'TD1' is recorded against the car.

Use Google to search for <audi td1> and you'll find plenty to read.
