I think it is fair to say you will get a Macan bias on here, it is after all.......

You have great opportunity to try all the vehicles in this sector. There will be plus's and minus's and only you will know what floats the boat.

GTS is awesome, just great fun and yes I do have one. ;) Recent discussions about a Turbo PP would seem that is the best of all worlds, especially giving even more fun in the 0-60mph department.

Have a great time checking them all out.

Love the 944, I had an E reg before swapping to a 968. Both just the biz, looking through rose-tinted glasses. :D
GTS \o/ - sold :(

Something a bit different perhaps with an extra to deal with flooded roads.

Something a bit different .... an RS6 avant? Good combination of pace and space.

I saw one on the road a week ago and, out of interest, priced it up when I got home. Lot of money.

Ha ha - not really. Was exploring the 'left field option' of a 911 (997 C4S was mentioned I think) plus as a 'less inspiring family car' maybe a Golf (perhaps GTi or R)... :)

I’m also wondering about a replacement. Bought my first Macan SD in May 2014 and changed to my current Macan SD in May 2015. Don’t normally keep my cars for more than 2 years never mind 3 and so am already beyond my normal change period. Was going to change to Macan SD number 3 in March but cancelled in January as OPC were taking the proverbial with the trade in offered. The trouble is I cannot see anything else on the market that seems as good as my Macan. Might just keep the Macan long term until a worthy contender comes on the market.
2021. Macan 2.0 Gentian. 12/21
2019. 718 Boxster T Carrara white.
2018. Macan SD Volcano.
2005. 987.1 Boxster S. Black.
2015 . Macan SD . Agate grey.
2014. Macan SD . Jet black.
2012. 981 Boxster PDK . Agate.
2010. 987.2 Cayman PDK. Aqua.

exact same scenario for me. My Petrol S will be three years come May so starting to review options. Glasgow showed no interest in my expressing interest in a GTS so theyve lost any business. Jaguar or Alfa not for me and Audi rarely change shape and so a feel theyre increasing dated looking. Not sure what to do...

I don't think there is anything out there that is dynamically as good as the Macan currently if you want an SUV so maybe hold on until the Macan refresh is out? Alternatively, as others have said, going for the C4S and a golf is not a bad shout.

There is a lovely 997 Carrera GTS at Hexagon, just to wet your appetite 😃 (though you are thinking of a C4S):

P.S.: or could be the one for WingCo, as an inside / out car with regards to the red colour he loves. ;)

- BMW 240i xDrive (G42) - Portimao Blue - AC Schnitzer tune
