I have noticed the same. Every cool or chilly morning, when driving out of my parking space, noticeable and noisy juddering of the wide, low profile front tyres... 😬

275/35 21" rubber on the fronts and I usually have my air suspension on its lowest setting, if that makes any difference...? :?

Ive set my self a task of pulling out onto the main road every morning without a little skid/spin. Cant do it. Time will tell if the tarmac suffers.

Tarmac won’t suffer - tyres might!πŸ˜‰
Mind you, a 50 yard sideways drift out of the drive must impress the neighboursπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Hi all, I have a 1000 mile SD and noticed that in stop-start traffic (normal non sport or sport+mode) the take up is terribly snatchy, like a duff manual clutch release. Never had this in my PDK 981 Cayman. Is this normal or is it a sign of this 'transfer box' that doesn't exist issue?

No, that isn't normal, the PDK is pretty perfect in stop/start traffic. At 1000 miles it certainly should not be a transfer box wear issue, but I guess a component failure can't be ruled out. Have you demonstrated this to your OPC?

Cheers Nick, no not yet. I don't do much stop-start work, so I will see if it settles/down or gets worse, thanks.

I do find the PDK in my GTS can sometimes lurch in stop start traffic but never had that on my 981.
