Same issue with Macan from new, smears directly in eyeliner on the drivers side. Finally fixed with a set of Bosch Aerotwin blades as per above.

Noisy rear wipe right from New, which I thought was unacceptable,
OPC would not fix under warranty, wanted £40 for a new blade.
Which surprised me as it was a brand new car.
Has anyone had wipers changed under warranty?
The front wiper bade I agree also mark up quickly.
Porsches are sold as quantity product,
but seem to have slipped up in the wiper department!

You are correct, the wipers seem to be a weakness.

Certainly, if Ford and others can get it right in the wiper department, you would think Porsche could also.

That said, the Bosch replacements work well and solve the juddering.

IIRC, bulbs and wipers are not warrantable items.

Wiper blades were warrantable items but only for the first month or so (when I ran Skoda / Renault dealerships)
My rear blade was replaced foc (to me) when my first SD was a couple of weeks old because of the juddering. Not sure if my dealership claimed it or not - I guess it may have been a goodwill gesture.
Interestingly, I haven't (yet) had the same issue with the rear wiper on my current GTS (14 months / 14000 miles) so maybe the arm twisty thing has been integrated into production now?

Has cause to use the rear wiper today for the first time since having the fix. Not a judder or a squeak.

Yes thanks, Simon. Arrived about 10:25 and was away about an hour later so no need of the Beemer.

Tewkesbury dealt with it with their customary courtesy and the minimum of fuss albeit the issue wasn’t of their making.

The downside of having it done today was that my beautiful clean car now looks like a camouflage exercise! 😰
