I have a 2015 Macan S Diesel with standard Halogen Lights. Has anybody any experience of upgrading to High Power LEDs - are there Cambus issues?
I was thinking of using the LedPerf conversion kit.

The Porsche Tequipment site makes it clear that (for a whopping price) you can upgrade Bi-xenon lights to LEDs. But there is nothing I can see about upgrading the standard halogen lights. So you would be on your own. Have you had a look at the USA Macan forum site for some help?
I can understand your wish to get better lights. I have standards halogens on my X1 and they are barely adequate. I usually have to drive on the country roads round here with my fogs on, just to properly illuminate the road in front of the car. So when I specced my Macan I went for the LEDs. They are wonderful by comparison with the feeble lamps on the X1.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

Replying to this message set me thinking. Why not do something about the dire headlights on the X1?
Christmas present to myself: a set of grandly titled "Performance Light Evo" bulbs to be fitted by my BMW dealer. We shall see if they help me see better in the dark. Or perhaps I should just eat more carrots. Or clean the light housings - the X1 doesn't have headlight washers either.

Hi All, I use these, worked very well. All the lights look the same colour now and much brighter. Has the DRL/Low Beam H15 HID too. Left the fogs standard.

Are they road legal? I've also heard that some aftermarket HID conversions can blacken the reflectors.Roddacom wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 11:06 am Hi All, I use these, worked very well.
